Kirpal Brush · A Vinayak Group company

India's first fully automated paint brush line.

Powered by MGG. From loose filament to a sealed export carton, every Kirpal brush is made on one automated line in Kota, for paint and tool brands around the world.

01 · Our promise

Three words we hold every brush to, and one promise we make to every brand that puts its name on one: to deliver trust.

02 · Since 1976

From one room to a fully automated line.

Fifty years ago, three people made brushes by hand. Today the same craft runs on an automated MGG line, and the care is the same.

1976 · Kota

One room. Three people. Every brush by hand.

Where Kirpal began: a single room, three pairs of hands, and brushes made one at a time.

Today · Kota

Fully automated, filament to carton.

One MGG line, ten stations, a check at every one. The craft from that first room, repeated exactly.

03 · The line

Ten stations. One brush at a time.

Follow one brush down the MGG line, from loose filament to a sealed export carton. Every machine, every check, in the order it happens.

04 · Anatomy

Four parts. No shortcuts.

A brush is only as good as the way its four parts are joined. We control every one of them on our own line.

Scroll to take it apart

  1. 01

    Filament

    Synthetic PBT and natural bristle

Chosen for the paint it will carry. Tapered, flagged tips for a smoother finish.

  2. 02

    Ferrule

    Italian steel

Formed steel that will not rust into the paint, crimped twice onto the handle.

  3. 03

    Setting

    Two-part epoxy

A metered dose that bonds every strand to the steel. Bristles stay in the brush.

  4. 04

    Handle

    Moulded in-house

Injection-moulded within the group, in any colour your brand needs.

05 · Raw materials

Four materials. Chosen, never assumed.

Filament, ferrule, handle and the epoxy that holds them together. Each is specified for the brush, and each comes from a source we know.

01

Filament

Synthetic PBT and natural bristle

Chosen for the paint it will carry: how much it holds, how it lays off, how cleanly it lets go.

02

Ferrule

Steel ferrules from Italy

Crimped round the knot so the head cannot turn or pull out, brush after brush.

03

Handle

Moulded by Vinayak Technoplast

Injection-moulded within the group, in each brand's own colour, ready for its mark.

04

Epoxy

Two-part, metered by machine

Dosed into the ferrule mouth to lock every strand, so bristles stay in the brush and off the wall.

06 · Material science

Material science, built with our vendors.

A brush is only as good as what it is made of. So we do not just buy materials: we develop customised solutions with the people who make them.

  1. 01

    Start from the paint

Every brief begins with what the brush is for: the paint, the surface, the market and the price it has to meet.

  2. 02

    Develop with our vendors

With our filament, ferrule and handle vendors we develop materials made for that brief: blends, gauges, polymers and colours.

  3. 03

    Prove it on the line

Samples are made and checked on the line itself, so what you approve is exactly what goes into production.

07 · The brushes

Made in Kota. Made to be trusted.

Every one carries the same knot depth, the same ferrule crimp and the same finish, whether it leaves Kota with our name on it or yours.

10 · Quality

Every batch, checked before it ships.

Five checks run on every batch, and every brush carries a batch code back to its run on the line.

11 · What we make

Two segments. One focus.

Paint brushes for export are what we do, and where our attention stays. Mechanised painting tools are what we are building towards.

13 · The Kirpal brand

The Kirpal brand, for the next fifty years.

Alongside the brands we make for, Kirpal grows its own name. A new mark, a brand story to match, and the line that stands behind both.

  1. Since 1976

    A name painters know

Kirpal brushes have carried our name in India for fifty years, on handles and labels alike.

  2. Next
